Ellen Ave's Top 5 Podcasts of 2020

Feel like taking a trip down memory lane?

Those loyal listeners that have been around since Ellen Ave was launched in 2020 know the ups & downs in the journey we've had so far.

Seeking to create a unique podcast that picks the brains and shares the stories of amazing people doing amazing things has been no easy feat. It's a slow journey, and a non-defined one - but it's an impactful, and life changing none the less.

The stories we heard and learned from in 2020 were nothing short of special. From athletes to startups, podcasters to musicians, Ellen Ave was a street you could turn down for open conversations and natural flows.

In no particular order, here's the Top 5 Downloaded Podcasts of 2020.

Fin Barnett Intro Episode:

"I'm a 19 year old Kiwi, born and bred - and I love heaps of things, two of them being Business and Sports."

"Could get bored, could be an absolute failure, but meh."

well 2 years later I'm certainly no OneUp Project, 138, nor Gary Vee - but I'm still going! And that's what it's all about.

Ropene Kurukaanga on Middleground Episode:

Fun fact - it was after this conversation that Ellen Ave got it's name. We recorded this episode on my voice memo's app in my old flat (on Ellen Avenue) and listened to it while I dropped him off. It came up on my car's stereo as "Ellen Ave", and the rest is history.

Only If Club by Grace Ghee Episode:

We recorded this out the back of Grace's place at the time where she was keeping her stock. Pretty sure the camera turned off halfway through. To this day, this is the top performing episode. Plus, Grace has gone on to do some amazing things with the brand.

 Zsimmy the Rapper Episode:

A humble man and talented artist who has most of NZ & Australia's teenage girl demographic after his heart. Unsure how I earned his friendship but I'm grateful for it - one day I hope to share a story around a studio session we had.

Retro Roots Vintage Reseller Episode:

Michael is a wicked smart dude who made a DECENT amount of money I'm not allowed to disclose in his last year of high school.
