Ellen Ave's Top 5 Podcasts of 2022

Feel like taking a trip down memory lane?

Those loyal listeners that have been around since Ellen Ave was launched in 2020 know the ups & downs in the journey we've had so far.

2022 was no different. A year of change, and re-focus

Seeking to create a unique podcast that picks the brains and shares the stories of amazing people doing amazing things has been no easy feat. It's a slow journey, and a non-defined one - but it's an impactful, and life changing none the less.

The stories we heard and learned from in 2022 were nothing short of special. From athletes to startups, podcasters to musicians, Ellen Ave was a street you could turn down for open conversations and natural flows.

Eventually, re-focusing to the core passion of the podcast in the second half of the year, momentum has come and gone, and the pressure to release consistently has dissipated. Will it work long term? Let's see at the end of 2023 and beyond.

In no particular order, here's the Top 5 Downloaded Podcasts of 2022.

Travelling Europe in 2022 PART 1:

This Travelling Europe in 2022 series was extremely popular - encompassing a raw and open account of our 2 month trip overseas with planning, budgeting, tips, highlights, learnings, and more. Should Sam and I go overseas just to do another travel series? lol

4 Side Hustles That Could Make You THOUSANDS A Month? with Rebecca Marie:

Rebecca always makes for a stellar episode when she comes on the show. This episode was the first one of the re-focus towards business and business ideas, and it definitely made its mark. Unreal, Rebecca.

The Norm Doesn't Get You A $3M Valuation At 21 | ft EasyRent:

Toby is a good mate, and an absolute genius too. The things he's done since this episode are crazy. EasyRent is going to the mood, it's EasyRent's world and we're all just living in it. Keep it up Toby x

An Open & Honest Chat About The 'Grind' Mentality with James Walsham:

James is crazy smart, and one of the most thoughtful guys I know. He's also extremely dialled in - one of the reasons I love to chat with him. A lot went into making this episode happen, including a record time sprint down Queen Street in AKL just to find an adapter so we could record this beautiful chat. Good times.

The Future Is Femmi | Esther Keown & Lydia O'Donnell on Ellen Ave:

I slid in these guys DMs on the off chance they'd be keen for a podcast. They said yes. The rest is history.
